DJ/MC Rocky Cavasos
Hey, I’m DJ Rocky. I have a true passion for people, music, and creating unforgettable celebrations. Born and raised in Sacramento, I’m a proud Kings fan, Light the Beam, and I carry my Filipino-Mexican heritage with pride, which shapes who I am both on and off the dance floor.
I earned my degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento, Stingers Up, and have been DJing weddings and events since 2018. One of my favorite live music experiences was Coachella 2018 with Beyoncé, The Weeknd, and Eminem on the same lineup, and seeing Kendrick Lamar on The Damn Tour still ranks at the top.
When I’m not DJing, Hawaii and Disney feels like my second home and I love traveling with my wife whenever we can. I’m also a proud dog dad to Kona, my four-legged sidekick who keeps life lively.
On the day of your wedding, my goal is simple. Keep the energy unreal, the dance floor packed. I thrive on making every celebration a the best party ever while keeping it professional, stress-free, and exactly what you envisioned.

I love bringing my attention to detail and eclectic music taste to help make every wedding an unforgettable night. My favorite part of the job is being able to share in a couple's special day, and feel the unique energy of each couple and their friends and family.
When I'm not working events, you'll find me spending time with my wife, most likely watching movies or rooting on our Sacramento Kings!

My love for music drives me to curate unique sets that get people moving and ensure that every celebration is one to remember. When I'm not behind the booth, I'm enjoying life with my wonderful wife and son, who inspire me to bring that same energy and joy to everything I do.
